Privacy Policy

Last updated September 27, 2026

The short version: myAllo does not sell, rent or share your information with anyone outside your household. No ads, no data brokers, no tracking for marketing.

Who this covers

myAllo is used by parents and guardians and by their children, including children under 13. We follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

What we collect (only what the app needs)

We do not collect location, contacts, or precise device information, and we never hold or process money.

Who can see what

Only people in your household can see its information, and each person sees only what their role allows. Co-parents see money between the adults, not the children's chores or wishes. Photos are private and open only through links that expire after one hour.

How long we keep it

Receipt photos are deleted automatically 30 days after an expense is reimbursed. Wish photos are deleted automatically 30 days after the item is purchased. Other information is kept until you delete it or close your account.

Service providers

We use a secure hosting provider to store data and run the app. They process data only on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. That isn't sharing or selling your information.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is locked to each household, and passwords are never stored in readable form.

Contact

Questions or deletion requests: contact the myAllo team through the app's support email.
